自傳
Zi-Tsan Chou (周孜燦) received the B.S. degree in applied mathematics from National Cheng-Chi University, the M.B.A. degree in information management from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and information engineering from National Taiwan University, in 2003. He Joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Sun Yat-Sen University as an assistant professor in February 2008. From 2003 to 2007, he was a manager and senior engineer of Networks and Multimedia Institute at Institute for Information Industry (III) in Taipei, Taiwan. He received the Innovative and Prospective Technologies Project Award and the Creative Technology Application Award from III in 2003 and 2004 respectively. Due to the contributions on papers and patents, he received the top-25 Outstanding Contributor Award (acceptance ratio < 0.18%) from the Department of Defense Industry Reserve-duty Service at Ministry of National Defense, Taiwan in 2007. His research interests include medium access control, power management, and quality-of-service control for wireless networks. He has published over 20 papers in international journals and conferences, including IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, one of the most prestigious journals in the networking research society. He holds six Taiwan patents and has filed ten U.S. patents relating to wireless communications. He is listed in Marquis Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the World in 2007 and 2008 respectively. He is a member of the IEEE Communication Society.
